Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri gets 19-month extension

Vikram Misri assumed charge as Foreign Secretary on July 15 this year, after serving as Deputy National Security Adviser from January 1, 2022 to June 30, 2024. He succeeded Vinay Mohan Kwatra, who is now serving as India’s Ambassador to the United States.
