The Sugary, Syrupy Chinese ‘Honey’ Trap: Study Finds 77% Of Honey Sold In Indian Market Is Impure

A study by the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), found that 77% of the honey sample to be adulterated. The study found that honey was mixed with sugar syrups imported from China. As per FCCI rules, adding anything to natural honey before the sale is illegal.
