Coronavirus outbreak: Inside Bihar control room, team of 40 works to disburse help

On a typical day, the disaster management department gets 2,000-2,500 calls, mostly from workers stuck in other states. In the initial days, the calls — around 4,000 a day — would mostly be requests to be brought home.
